Reserve Points Timekeeper

This Privacy Policy explains how Reserve Points Timekeeper (“the app”) handles information. The app has no login, no cloud account, and no server that receives or handles data you enter in the app.
Who I am
Reserve Points Timekeeper is developed by a U.S. military reservist, as a personal planning aid. Contact: reservepoints@funnymoneyapp.com.
The app is not an official Department of Defense, DFAS, or service system of record, and it is not affiliated with any government agency.
Short version
I do not collect, sell, or share the information you enter in this app. Everything you type stays on your device unless you choose to export it. The financial awareness features of this app have no connection to any real money and are only an estimate provided for your personal awareness. This app has no cookies, tracking, or any related features whatsoever.
Information stored on your device
The app saves data in a local database on this device so it can work offline. That may include:
- Retirement-planning inputs you provide, such as service component, retirement system, pay-base plan, current and retirement grades, ASOSH points, birth date, active-duty entry date, projected lifetime years, an optional manual pay override, and an optional preferred email address used only to prefill “Send Summary Text” (intended for you to email a note to yourself for ease of copy/paste into the appropriate system of record for IDT tracking)
- Work logs you create: task names, start and end times, optional accomplishment notes, and whether a group of sessions is In Progress, Ready, or Recorded.
- An active timer, if one is running, and recent task names for convenience.
- If you leave an optional tip, a local copy of that purchase (a transaction id, product id, and date) so the app can show your Contributor badge offline.
Some of this is sensitive (for example dates of birth and military work details). It is stored only so the app can show your estimates.
Please do not enter any other sensitive information in the work log details, such as full names or PII of other individuals. Never store CUI, FOUO, or classified information in this app. You are solely responsible for safeguarding this information and this app is not designed or accredited to handle any such controlled information.
What I do not collect
The app does not create an account, does not require a name, and does not send your profile or work logs to me or to any backend I operate.
I do not use advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs, and I do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location. Apple’s privacy manifest for this app states that the app does not track you.
Apple, Google, or your device maker may collect their own diagnostic or usage data under their policies. I do not receive that from this app.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on this device while a task timer is running (check-ins, a four-hour advisory, and an eight-hour auto-stop). Those notifications are not sent through Apple Push Notification service to a server I control, and I do not receive a push token from you.
When information may leave the device
Only if you take an action:
Send Summary Text. You can export a plain-text summary of a Ready point (task titles, duration, optional notes, and a recommended date). If you have saved a preferred email, the app tries to open your Mail app with that address filled in. Otherwise it uses the system share sheet. Whatever app or person you send it to is outside this app and has its own rules. You are solely responsible for what you do with the exported data.
Support email. If you email reservepoints@funnymoneyapp.com, I will receive whatever you include in that message (and your email address). I use that only to respond to your question, then I keep or delete the thread as ordinary personal correspondence.
Optional in-app purchases. You may optionally leave a tip through “Tip the developer.” Those purchases use Apple’s App Store and Google Play’s standard in-app purchase systems (their default billing infrastructure). Apple or Google processes the payment. I do not send them your retirement inputs or IDT work log. Apple’s and Google’s store policies apply to that purchase. Tips are optional; all core features work without them.
Device backups. If you back up this phone (for example iCloud or a computer backup), the app’s local database may be included in that backup. I do not control those backups and cannot access them.
How on-device information is used
Only to provide the app’s features: retirement-point estimates, IDT timekeeping, local notifications, exports you start, and an optional on-device Contributor badge if you tip. I do not use your in-app data for advertising or profiling because I never receive your work log or retirement inputs.
Children
The app is intended for adult service members. It is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security, deletion, and official records
Data is protected by your device’s ordinary app sandbox. Uninstalling the app, or deleting entries inside the app, removes that information from this installation. I have no copy to delete on a server.
Do not enter classified information, CUI, or anything your command would not want on a personal device. This app is a personal aid, not an official record. Authorization and retirement-point credit remain with your command and official systems (for example NSIPS).
Your privacy rights
Because I do not receive the data you enter in the app, there is no copy of it for me to access, correct, or delete. You control it on this device.
I do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are used in U.S. state privacy laws (including California’s CCPA/CPRA), because the app does not transmit your in-app data to me or to advertisers.
If you emailed me, you may ask me to delete that correspondence at reservepoints@funnymoneyapp.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, I will update the in-app text and the hosted copy and change the effective date at the top. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
