In-App Purchases

Funny Money requires an in-app purchase to unlock the full version of the app beyond the 10-transaction demo. This purchase is processed through Apple's App Store and is subject to Apple's privacy policy. Apple provides no identifying information whatsoever to us about your purchase.

Unfortunately, this does make it very difficult to restore your product if you lose access to your device or Apple ID, but please feel free to contact us for support if this occurs. We'll do our best to help you regain access to your purchase.

Information We Don't Collect

Funny Money is designed to operate without collecting any personal or financial information from users. We explicitly do not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Device identifiers or unique identifiers
• Location data or geolocation information
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Transaction amounts, balances, or financial data
• Family member information or account details
• Any data transmitted to external servers

Data Storage

All data associated with Funny Money is stored locally on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms. This includes:

• Transaction history and details
• Account balances and configurations
• Family member information and roles
• Invoice records and status
• App preferences and settings
• PIN protection settings

iMessage Integration

Funny Money uses iMessage to share transactions and account updates within your family group. All data shared via iMessage is:

• End-to-end encrypted by iMessage
• Only accessible to members of your specific family iMessage group
• Never stored on any Funny Money servers (we don't have any)
• Transmitted directly between your devices through Apple's infrastructure
• Subject to Apple's privacy policy for iMessage

Third-Party Services

Funny Money does not integrate with any third-party services that would collect or process your data. We do not use:

• Analytics services (Google Analytics, etc.)
• Crash reporting services
• Advertising networks
• Social media integrations
• Cloud storage services
• Backup services
• Any external data processing services

Data Security

While we don't collect data, we ensure that any local data storage follows industry best practices:

• Data is encrypted using iOS's built-in encryption
• No data transmission over networks except through your iMessage chats
• Secure local storage mechanisms
• No external data sharing
• PIN protection for administrative actions

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any personal or financial data, there's no data for us to:

• Provide access to (because we don't have it)
• Correct or update (because we don't store it)
• Delete (because we don't collect it)
• Port to another service (because we don't have it)

Children's Privacy

Funny Money is specifically designed for families, including children. Since we don't collect any data, we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. All app usage is handled entirely on-device within your family's control.

Data Export

You can export your family ledger at any time directly from the app. This exported data is provided to you in a standard format and we do not receive any copies or access to your exported data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through the app itself. We will notify users of any material changes through in-app notifications.
